Mogumogu is a great spot that I always recommend to my friends who are looking for brothless ramen. Every time I visit, the noodles are consistently flavorful and a delight to have. I would also 100% recommend you try the fried squid legs too. I come here for the fried squid legs more than the ramen honestly Miso Ramen: The pork was slightly chewy and isn't the melt in the mouth chasiu from other ramen spots. The noodles felt al dente - not super soft but got a nice bite. The ramen egg had a jammy yolk and it was the perfect level of saltiness that didn't feel overwhelming. Ikageso (Fried Squid Legs): I have to dock a point because while they're usually consistent, sometimes the squid legs aren't as crispy as other times but these are a must try if you love crispy things and squid Kyoto Mazemen: The sauce is plentiful and every bite tastes flavorful. Just make sure you mix well! Watch out for splattering! The portions here are pretty fulfilling. ‍ Service: Staff are friendly and service was quick. Do note that this place is usually pretty popular so be prepared to come early and put your name down!

If you're looking for an unforgettable ramen experience, MOGU MOGU is the place to be! I started with the Deluxe Mazeman, and it was nothing short of amazing. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and a wave of umami with each bite. It's a bit on the indulgent side with all the toppings, but totally worth it if you want to "Treat yo self". The Kyoto Mazeman, was equally as impressive but with a bit of a different flavor profile, yet still very satisfying. One of the highlights of my meal was the Mogu Chicken, and I highly recommend it! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, it was the perfect complement to the ramen dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, this place has definitely earned a repeat visit, and I can't wait to try more from their menu. If you're in Costa Mesa and craving something flavorful and unique, MOGU MOGU should be at the top of your list!

I love mogu mogu and their mazemen! it's super flavorful and has a good mix of of all the ingredients i usually like getting the tokyo cause it has a little kick to it and i add lots of the sesame seeds and vinegar provided on the table good portion size and they will also give you a small scoop of rice at the end to add it to the sauce which also tastes amazing!

Great food, service, and pricing. They have a minimal amount of items for their happy hour, but good items to choose from. It is in a strip mall area parking is not an issue. However, it is a smaller restaurant, so during peak lunch and especially during dinner, expect a wait. The turnover is pretty quick so the wait time is not too long. The deluxe is always the go to when eating here - would definitely recommend this dish.

Went on a Sunday around 6pm and there was no wait for 2! It started filling up a bit after we got there. I got the vegan Tokyo mazemen and it was so good! One of the best dishes I've had recently. They have a good amount of noodles and the dry sauce was umami and so tasty! The avocado, brussel sprouts, mushrooms and plant-based meat were all great toppings! They then give you a small scoop of rice to mix in with everything after! I had enough to have leftovers for another meal On top of this, very kind and attentive staff! Will be back for sure
